gani and papa have been spending a lot of quality time together lately. i'm so glad they have the opportunity to take this summer to bond and do fun things. fortunately too, the weather's been so bright and sunny, even in the "cursed" section of the city where we (and the fog) reside. gani's been running around the house naked a lot. in fact this morning, he accidentally peed on the floor.

lately, we've been trying to spend summer outdoors doing fun (and FREE!) things since we're so broke. also, since he's not in daycare for summer session two, we've been trying to make more of an effort to see his best friend lupita when we can. here are the two at the park enjoying the playground and the sun.

of course, bad mama and papa never bring a camera around, so fortunately jose, lupita's papi, is a photographer and brings one around wherever we go. why duplicate efforts, right? this weekend, it's stern grove for a free concert with the spanish harlem orchestra.
