one of my friends, tad, who i met in my summer stint in hawai'i, is having his film premiere this weekend for his latest film "a song for ourselves". his last film, "pilgrimage" was screened at sundance, and was a great film highlighting a pilgrimage to manzanar, the site of a japanese american internment camp. i can't wait to see what he's done with "a song for ourselves".
the soundtrack to the film is available for upload and gets a 5-star rating by me.
